An exhibition of sculptures, paintings, prints, collages and film by 31 artists from Tohoku （Northeastern Japan） and Scotland in the Sculpture Court, Edinburgh College of Art Lauriston Place, Edinburgh, EH3 9DF
5:30 – 8pm on 17th October
5:30 pm Welcome Reception
6:00 pm Official Opening: Mr Masataka Tarahara, Consul General of Japan and Mr Chris Breward Principal of Edinburgh College of Art will officially open the exhibition. Followed by a a special performance by Inchorus, Lothian and Borders Police Choir and Tayside Police Choir who will debut their “Musical Postcard to Japan’
Any benefit from sales of the 76 page full colour catalogue, and 40% of sales from the exhibition will support projects with Tohoku artists working towards recovery in the regions devastated by the ‘Great East Japan Earthquake’ and subsequent tsunami and nuclear disaster. This is a rare opportunity to buy work from some of Tohoku and Scotland’s top artists

The exhibition will then be open from 18th-25th October 10am-5pm. Admission free
